2016 off to a slow start

The Madera County Economic Development Commission (MCEDC) held their annual State of the County Luncheon on March 31st. A record crowd of over 220 people listened to commentaries on Eastern Madera County, the City of Chowchilla, the City of Madera and the County of Madera.

2015 Paved the Road for a Bright New Year

According to the Milken Institute, a nonpartisan economic think tank, Madera has been ranked 32nd among the country's "Best Performing Cities" in 2015.

Madera County Economic Development Commission (MCEDC) has been announced as the California Association of Local Economic Development's (CALED) Award of Excellence winner for Freedom Industrial Park.

The Madera Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA), which includes most of Madera County, has been highlighted again, this time by Milken Institute's 2015 Best-Performing Cities.
