Locally Administered Revolving Loan Fund

The Locally Administered Revolving Loan Fund is a financial tool designed to stimulate economic growth and development within Madera County. The Madera County Small Business Loan Program, and the City of Madera Revolving Loan Fund Program provides businesses with access to capital that may not be available through traditional banking channels, offering a springboard for expansion, innovation, and job creation.

Small Business Loan Program

Madera County EDC is authorized to provide funding in the form of long and short-term financing. The program is funded primarily through the State Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds. Funding from the program includes but not limited to, equipment purchase, working capital, and inventory acquisitions for new and existing businesses through the Madera County Small Business Loan Program and the City of Madera Revolving Loan Fund Program. The funding is primarily focused on job creation meeting the requirement of one full time job created for every $35,000 in loan funds. By offering flexible terms and competitive interest rates the fund ensures that businesses have the necessary resources to thrive and compete in today’s market.
